Super NES – Nintendo Scope 6 is a compilation of six light gun games released in 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was designed to showcase the Super Scope, Nintendo’s wireless light gun peripheral. The collection includes Blastris A, Blastris B, LazerBlazer, Mole Patrol, Intercept, and Engage, each offering unique gameplay experiences.
The Blastris games resemble Tetris, requiring players to shoot falling blocks to fit them together. LazerBlazer consists of three sub-games—Intercept, Engage, and Confront—where players must destroy incoming enemy missiles, ships, and obstacles. Mole Patrol is a whack-a-mole-style shooting game that tests reflexes.
Though the Super Scope was a niche accessory, Nintendo Scope 6 served as a fun introduction to its capabilities. The game featured vibrant SNES graphics and fast-paced action, but its reliance on the Super Scope limited its appeal. Despite this, it remains a nostalgic title for retro gaming enthusiasts.
