Super NES Super Scope 6 is a light gun shooter game released in 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was bundled with the Super Scope, a wireless bazooka-style peripheral. The game features six mini-games divided into two modes: Blastris and LazerBlazer.
Blastris includes Blastris A, a Tetris-like puzzle game; Blastris B, a variant with different mechanics; and Mole Patrol, a whack-a-mole-style challenge. LazerBlazer focuses on shooting-based gameplay with Intercept, where players shoot down missiles; Engage, a dogfight-style challenge; and Confront, a first-person shooter scenario.
The game showcases the Super Scope’s capabilities with fast-paced action and accuracy-dependent gameplay. While Super NES Super Scope 6 was praised for its fun, arcade-like experience, the Super Scope’s bulky design and battery consumption limited its popularity. Nonetheless, it remains a unique and nostalgic title for SNES light gun enthusiasts.
