Pac-In-Time is a 1995 platformer developed by Kalisto Entertainment and published by Namco for the Super Nintendo, MS-DOS, and Game Boy. It is a rebranded version of Fury of the Furries with Pac-Man as the protagonist. The game follows Pac-Man, who is sent back in time by his nemesis, the Ghost Witch of Netor, and must return to the present by overcoming various obstacles across different themed worlds.
Unlike traditional Pac-Man games, Pac-In-Time features side-scrolling platformer mechanics. Pac-Man can use four different abilities fireballs, a rope, swimming, and rock-breaking to navigate levels filled with enemies and puzzles. Players must collect a set number of pellets to unlock the exit and progress. The game combines puzzle-solving with action-platforming, offering a unique take on the Pac-Man franchise. Though not as well-known as classic Pac-Man titles, Pac-In-Time stands out for its engaging gameplay and creative mechanics.
